On You
05:48
|
|||
Your eyes calling out for me
"are you right for me?"
am I just a shade
of an idea you think like?
You move like a hurricane
wild and insane
you don't know the game
but you look for a lead to follow
No one knows where the truth come from
is it old is it young?
is it yet to be found?
what shade of grey, what shade of grey?
All the raw energy
to be released
a source of savior or of fright
please get it right
You lurk - you rise
keep searching for truth - for a guide
you cry, calling me out
calling me out from under your skin
You lay, you lay low
but the blood in your veins brew
use your force to create or destroy
the choice lies on you
I'd lay my soul in fire
I'd bleed until I'm dry
unite
let's unite

Sweet Denial
04:48
|
|||
There are stars
there are stars
there are star
all around us
there is light, there is life
penetrating hearts
we were found
in the midst of darkness
we rose
like rockets aiming for the moon
we were born again
and we knew
that we'd outlive them all this time
that we'd outlive them all this time
There is now
then there is forever
there is love
there is us
we are one
we might be in denial
but what a sweet denial
what a sweet denial
So light when we fly
easy to hide
and to leave the love
leave the love
(but) we will stay
embrace

Borders
03:31
|
|||
I have but I want more
you have but you want more
I have but I want more
we have but we want more
Self absorbed with nation
Concerned with purification,
traditions, religions
what do they mean to you?
Drawing borders
to embrace ourselves
Careful - or we will drown in wealth
We don't know such thing as history,
or do we?
Are we just to ignorant to see that
only because of past exploitation
we are now in a position in which
we can pick who lives and who dies
Lacking empathy
Feeding fellow humans with insecurity
What has this place come to be?
We've reached a point where we openly
disgrace anyone believing in humanity
Let them drown in border waters,
let them know that we won't reach further
let them see that they won't find savior here
– in the lands of the free
Fabricated news
Media writing for profit over truth
National security is being used as an excuse
for not paying our dues
Ashamed of the hypocrisy
The missing sympathy
I could write a whole symphony
on failed state policy
on failed citizen agency
on the madness only a few seem to see
on the myths of our property
Rapidly goes faith in our society
- that we can live side by side
regardless what religion,
regardless of ethnic composition
I have but I want more,
you have but you want more,
I have but I want more,
we have but we want more

Noise
04:42
|
|||
I don't wanna stay but I don't know what else to do
I just know that I'm dreading turning out like most of you
I'm still here - not getting things done
I'm still here where everything begun
I don't want to think cause I'm afraid of what might come
and somehow the noise keeps me calm
I'm alive - but I feel like stone
I'd rather be numb than risk feeling alone
I don't want to be someone who avoid the others' eyes
but I fear I have already turned out that way
I'm right here, but God knows I'm lost
and I need the noise to guide me home
Never really found a purpose and the years run by so fast
I'm loosing hope in ever finding a track
I sway but I'm still on my feet
to survive, the noise is all I need
I don't want to leave behind anything, but nothing's really mine
All I once possessed have somehow gone with the wind
I'm right here, but God knows I'm lost
and I need the noise to guide me home

What If

If you could see
would you want to see?
If you could know
would you want to know?
What would you do
if you could tern back time?
